I had some issues when I was setting mine up. I had found that the cable was binding the first time I tried it. I had to go back, loosen everything up and re-align the tubes (did this a few times) until I got it to work smoothly. Perhaps its just the positioning of the tubes that the cable rides in?
Another thing I ran into was an improper spacement of the tube to the wiper motor, so I had to remove the whole thing one more time.
