Rod:

It is more on the order of a $50-55K car. As I indicated, I supplied the motor, trans and rear, wheels and tires, so my price is reduced by the cost of those items.

Future "Slabsides" should be, as a roller similar in price to a 427SC with the same options.

As for time... I've been waiting a life time. (More on the order of six months to this point).

Jim

PS: and the color is black (the interior will be "Harlot" Red). That's the finished paint job in the pictures.

Sorry Jim, nowadays the finish gel coat can look so good, you can't tell the difference at least in photos. I love the black. Excellent choice. Who painted it?

I'm actually very interested. Does ERA include the spline hubs and wire wheels as well as source all the interior and exterior bits (gauges, dash, bumpers and hoops, grill, etc.)?

It's been six months and you haven't taken delivery yet, is that correct?

Thanks for the info.

Rod:

The paint was done by Tony Stefan, a true artist, one of ERAs regular painters.

As far as all of the parts to make a slabside (or as the boyz in the welding shop refer to it; sloberside), ERA has sources for all of the special parts. Due to the way it was developed, it requires an ERAFIA body which is then modified. ERA is going to do the assembly on this car because it is the first one for them.

Check with Peter about a time line. I've been talking with them for some time about this car and initially put things in motion just after Kit Car Carlisle last year to develop the body molds, take measurements from an original car, etc.

Inasmuch as I have, at any one time, multiple projects in the works, I care little for how long a project might take, but rather that it come out right in the end.

Jim
