The GT has a ZF trans with a bellhousing from Safir GT40 spares/twinplate clutch.
We should be able to have some update of the slabside pictures tomorrow. The hubs have been machined and Doug is putting the rear together. So, there is a chance that it may actually be "on the ground" by tomorrow afternoon.

PS: I learned very early on that the way for me to deal with the "wait" was to always be working one (or more) projects ahead. That way whenever things finally came together on a particular project, it was fine with me... just so long as when they did, the project was finished the way I want it done.
