Since you were going to go with a black roll bar, I was about to recommend a dark blue color for your ERA that I saw on Club Cobra a while ago. I went back to check the thread where I first saw it and noticed that the thread was authored by you. I think that color with the black wheels looks great.

I like your choices for your car; a lot of what your doing is somewhat similar to my own ERA FIA (#2044); mine is actually up at ERA right now getting some freshening up - keep an eye out for it; its Silver with black ERA spats . I have the under exhaust that runs all the way out the back; initially I thought I might change it to out in front of the rear wheels but: I got to like it all the way out of the back; and, if I wanted to change it up front, it was going to be difficult to get the pipes the way I wanted them (I liked the bigger pipes, I think 3-4" vs. just 2.5" pipes that comes with the set up). I have 2 hoods, one with a scoop, the other without.

I think that you are going to find that anything that you are agonizing over right now, you know, not exactly sure whether to choose this thing or that will all disappear when you finally get the car.

All the guys at ERA have been great; you will have no regrets. It is not only Peter, but all the guys you will be lucky enough to deal later on (if you haven't already); Bob and Doug and the rest of the crew.

Good luck.

Fastd,

I have a list a mile long and have gone through the FIA manual many times with a highlighter ... as well as going through the online index. It almost feels like I am studying for a final exam

The other great source of information that I have found, is right here at Club Cobra and the guys that I have met.

Along with talking with Peter, I have also talked with Bob and exchanged a few emails. I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the crew. I am pretty well settled on the big stuff, but there seems to be no end to the details and all of the options. I have done a lot of homework to get to this point and it's been fun. Now it's time to start the build ... ( still working on that shade of blue ... )

- Tim
