I also noticed that they all have a proper single roll-bar, too.

I hope these guys didn't mortgage the house to buy a Cobra, always a bad idea even in a good economy. With the housing market down for the count, that could be one reason for the many sales.

ERA 192 was for sale on Cobra Country but is just now listed as sold. I really liked this one too.

Somebody please buy #690 and thrash the hell out of it. The poor thing was completed in Winter 2006 and has less than 250 miles on it. It must be so depressed. A couple of good tire squeaks and a run down of a chebby may just turn around its lethargic life.

(by the way, it's also a darn good deal)

The guy I bought my ERA from put about 450 miles on it in the three years he owned it. He noted it looked terrific sitting in the garage, like a nice sculpture or piece of art. For some, that's enough. For me? I couldn't wait to roast the tires and wake up that garage queen.

There was a Silicon Valley instant millionaire, a few years back, who had his Cobra parked in a special room right behind his office. The wall between was glass. Now THAT'S a hell of an objet d'art to decorate the old office with...

The inboard braked rear is the "default" rear. The "optional" rear gives you more stuff, and less weight (and outboard brakes). I wonder if it was different back in 1998?

Nope. The only change was changing to our own subframe for the Jag XJ components around chassis 060.
