Front sway bar links

My EM frame was built in 96. The link between the front sway bar and the frame has snapped. I thought it might be a pinto/Mustang II part but mine is much larger.
This is the 3rd time in 135,000 miles of bumpy new england roads so I'm not complaining too much.
I can repair what's left of the broken one(Have a new bolt welded on) or fabricate a work-around but it would be nice to just bolt in a replacement if I can find it.

What SUSPENSION SYSTEM DO YOU HAVE as EM made frames with a number of different suspension systems all at the same time, mine are all Corvette suspensions, that would be the first point I would start at, determine what you have. A picture would help.

I second the request for a picture!

Having said that, my first link for the Mustang II front suspension broke before 40K miles which would seem average for yours ;-)

I did some on-line scouting and found that a Volvo 740 link might be a possibility. I say it this way because I haven't bought one yet to try.

I have a similar frame and I used a sway bar from a 1980 pinto wagon, which I believe was 15/16" diameter. This larger bar required larger bushings (Energy Suspension 9.5109G) and sway bar links. I could not find the part number for the link kit, but should be that for the 1980 pinto wagon. This sway bar uses the holes in the EM frame brackets.
I have since gone to a narrowed by 5/8" each side, adjustable coil over front end to correct tire issues with the fenders. I no longer run the front sway bar and have had no issues.

When i rebuild Gen 3 MII sway bar links i use Spohn performance Spherical end links with poly bushes. Their part number is..

NOTE: Centering spacers will need to be machined, i use stainless tubing 1" OD X 3/8" ID. You will also need to make or reuse your old clasp (lower mount) on you control arm.
