Doesn't the new Ford GT (40) use a derivative of the Lightning motor? Seems Ford thinks the motor is quite well suited to a performance car so maybe it's not such a bad choice. Yeah you may have to change rods and put in cams that'll work at higher r's but it's only $$ right? I agree with the SIZE thing, the new Ford o'head cam motors are very wide and the Lightning motor is waayyy tall. There's no way it'll fit in a Coupe without half the motor sticking through the hood.
