I think it depends on what you want. A lot of people doing ford restorations would consider that a great find. ($2000 to $3000) or more but if it is for a cobra I wouldn't pay that much because I would buy a Genesis or Shelby Block for that price. Well not for that price but after you have the old block worked over, you could just about get one of the new 427 block. I wouldn't pay more than $1500, maybe 2 grand if it looked really good. Remember, .030 overbore is really the last chance on a 427 block. You probably don't want to go further than that. A lot of people will try to get it cleaned up with a .017 bore first. That would be fine with me.
