BIG Block FE starter/quicktime bell wiring question

For those of you that are running big blocks with a quicktime bell housing:

Is there a specific starter that we are limited to purchasing because of the bell? What starter are you guys using?

If we are limited to a specific starter, does it have the solenoid mounted directly to it or can I still mount the solenoid on the fire wall like the origional cars?

I am running my wires without the motor and need to know how much lead and where to end the lines.
