Throttle Return Spring Bracket

I'm building a 428 FE with a Quick Fuel Technologies carb. and a turkey pan. I'm wondering what everyone is using for a throttle return spring and bracket on similar set-ups.

I tried the kit from QFTthat mounts on the carb., but it won't fit inside the turkey pan. I even tried mounting it to the rear, and that causes interference somwhere else.

Any suggestions?

Put your springs underneath your TP. I run a Holley, but here's a shot of mine from up top.

Most run the spring back to a bracket mounted to the two holes on the intake behind the carb. Those two holes behind the right spring in Pat's pic. Mickmate sells a nice one if your are looking.

Mine come up from under per the following pic. I had to modify the opening a bit for the thottle rod and the spring bracket a bit also.
