PCV Routing
I run my pcv in the right v/c with a homemade oil separator between there and the port at the back of the manifold, just below the carb flange.
I have a K&N breather filter in the driver side v/c and a solid plate covering the lifter valley opening at the rear of the manifold.
This causes fresh air to be drawn all the way through the engine, removing condensation and blowby gases that could contaminate the oil. It also keeps the plumbing simple and I have no troubles with oil vapor blowing out the breather.

The question is, where is the best place to route the PCV line coming from the passenger side valve cover.
I will be using an Earl's alum breather on the drivers side valve cover and an Earl's alum breather with integral PCV/an-6 on the passenger.
** There is no rear carb port and I dont have the hood clearance to add a carb plate, even a Boss 302 style.
So I have 2 options:
Do I use the plug on the manifold underneath the rear of the carb...........or drill and tap the cover plate (covers the 1 1/2" rear port - currently has the 5" high FE breather on it) for the fitting.
Additionally, if I use the smaller hole below the carb should I reinstall the rear manifold cover plate to increase vacuum, or can I leave the breather on?
Sorry for the long question, looking for someone who knows or who has already done the experiment so I wont have to, thank you.
Best, Bret.
