I have a 427 all aluminum engine from Shelby Engines punched to 467. the longblock was built by them and I installed the intake and Shelby aluminum rocker assemblies and set the valve lash by using the instructions from the lifter company ... snug until you feel tension between the pushrod and lifter then 1/2 turn more and tighten the lock nut. I've adjusted these now 3 times with not much difference noticed...
NOW... here's my problem that I need help on: The motor only runs for a few seconds and runs extremely rough... like only 4 or 5 cylinders are firing and I have NO throttle response... it just seems to run and then eventually blows smoke and junk up the carb and shuts off. I am not a newbie... I've built several motors but i just can't figure this one out... everything is brand new, engine, carb, distributor, coil, wires, gas etc....
I've gone over the distributor to make sure it's not 180 out.
I've checked and rechecked the firing order and wires 15426378 passenger side is 1-4 and drivers side cylinders are 5-8
I've checked spark going to all the wires...
I have fuel squirting from the jets whenever I want it.
I've pasted a video up of what I'm seeing.

I'd appreciate any help to start chasing this down.
