Just another case of East Coast bias, just like ESPN.
I've picked up both types of wheels before and there is a weight difference. Maybe you and Chas both "threw back" a few extra oysters at the oyster bar that day. There's no chance I would believe the stats provided by you guys in whatever unscientific methods you used. 
BTW, if Fran or Halibrand someday make a batch of mags and if somehow I can figure out the correct backspacing measurements so that they fit my Kirkham, then I'm still a buyer of mag wheels. They look cool and are lighter than aluminum. |
