Default New Stage 2 Edelbrock Flow Numbers

We have improved our already popular Stage 2 FE heads with new port designs. We have improved the exhaust quit a bit as it has always been as little on the weak side. This is a street/strip head with a user friendly 45 degree valve job and a conservative 200cc runner volume on the intake.
We can do a 50 degree valve job for the high lift race stuff and get more flow plus we still have our Stage 3 head which I am fluffing up some as well.
The new flow numbers are as follows.
Intake .300/227, .400/276, .500/307, .600/325, .700/336 and .800/344. These are very similar to our regular Stage 2 head but our new port works better .600 and above. The exhaust is .300/161, .400/195, .500/226, .600/249, .700/265 and .800/276. The exhaust now flows close to our Stage 3 head but is a little smaller.
Remember our Stage 2 heads use a 2.19 and 1.75 valve so they can be used on bores as small as 4.140 so they work great on 428 strokers. We also do as version with the smaller 2.09/1.66 valve and they flow about 10 percent less.

Thanks, Keith Craft

How does the stage 2 head compare to the bare felony head, how much more is the felony head with the same port job, its cool to see new option for the FE, is it best to have Keith or Barry do the head work or do most builders order bare heads and do the head work themselves or with their own machinist???

Keith,

Do you do your stage 2 work on customer supplied E brock heads? How much?

Does the stage 2 work include intake port matching? Do you think it is needed on a street engine?

John
