Yes Ray, something like Moroso would be fine.

Can you plumb the other side to a separate breather can?

Just an idea to keep breather fume residue off your valve covers.

You could also plumb the pcv to the back as you say, and have a breather filter on each valve cover. The engine would then be more symmetrical.
