I'm with Pat on this one. After trying a cool looking high dollar starter in my first Cobra for a while, and the problems associated with that, I did what quite a few experienced people here did and went with a rebuilt from O'Rielly's. This was cranking a 468 stroker with 10.5 to 1 compression and a fixed 35 degree advanced dist. Never had any more problems in the 5k miles after that.
