Thumbs up Engines for CHEAP!!

I have 3 FE's all core motors. 2 390's complete pan to 4bbl intake/waterpump to trans. 390's from '66 T-birds. 1 very early 352. 1 351 W long block. I'm thinning the herd and need the space. I also have a couple of 9" rearends out of the same T-birds, complete drum to drum. Offers on any or all. Local to San Francisco Bay area, 1 hour south of Livermore. It would all make for a really healthy pick up load and all at one time would get such a deal!

About .15 cents a pound owns this stuff! By CHEAP, I mean "I'm gonna scrap em" cheap.

I shouldn't even be thinking about this with all the other stuff I need to do on the car, but how much for the 390?
I was looking at stroker kits and 440+ cubes and 500 or so horsepower from a 390 rebuild has piqued my interest.

Hey Buzz, you can have one but don't you think the shipping would be a killer? It would probably be 800 lbs. by the time it was crated. If your going to build a stroker then you wouildn't need most of it. Shipping a bare block would be a bunch cheaper.

Thanks John. Shipping is always a problem for me, lol! One of my friends is a local agent for a container shipping company. I'll contact him tomorrow to weigh my options. I suppose you're right in that a bare block sourced somewhere closer to Miami is probably the way to go if the buildup will be done down here. There's a good chance it might work out better for me to have to have the assembly done in the US and imported complete.

Maybe if he cut the block up in pieces before he shipped it he could save a few bucks.
