One other stipulation, it must be an FE based on the gesesis block.. 460's weigh too much and small blocks are NOT my thing.

800HP is a useless waste of money unless you can get it "to the ground". The only difference is gonna be a little noise and smoked tires. You can smoke just as many tires with 425HP as 800HP. If your gonna tub it; narrow the rear coupled to a ladder suspension and throw some strange axles in it rolling on 12.5/32-15's then you can have some meaningful fun. Otherwise; you'll never feel it in the seat of your pants so it becomes a lot of money for only something to talk about. In other words; "bragging rights" for HP but you can't do anything with it. Not much practicality (or fun) in that. I might add; if you had experienced a car "breaking loose" on you in 3rd gear at 75MPH then you wouldn't be asking the question. The car no longer is fun to drive because your afraid to get on it. Been to that show too.

(BTW: I really like that year body style). I'd probably throw what ever BB came in the car and beef it up a little for an added boost but you can still hook it up all the way through the gears. But I'm old; so what do I know.
