Default Anyone have flow numbers for KCR Stage 1 Edelbrock heads?

Are they around 270/200?

Brent, you might just send an email to KC or call him. I'm sure he'll be able to give you the numbers.

The 427 style heads with the 2.19/1.73 valves in the stage one form will
flow about 280/220 and make up to 550HP depending on the camshaft and
cubic inches. This is with about a 10.5 to 1 compression. Thanks, Keith

Keith,
How about the stage 1's with the 2.09/1.66 CJ valves like Brent and I both have from you?
Thanks, Byron W.

Yea, I think you are right. I saw Shelly and just answered. I will go back to sleep now.

Later,

Byron,
Sorry to confuse you. I had asked Keith for the flow numbers for my heads a few weeks ago. I recall seeing a before and after chart for stock Edelbrocks with 2.09 valves flowing 250/190. I am sure Keith's valve job gets that to around 270/200 and my bigger valves make it 280/220.

Snakepilot,
As you can tell at my age it does not take a lot sometimes. What heads and valves are you using? Also, will the 2.15 intake valves clear a 4.110 bore if used in the edelbrock heads? I have a pretty stout +060 390 going together for my Shell Valley car.

Thanks again,
Byron

I have Keith Craft Stage 1 427 Edelbrock heads. I have a 4.25 bore so I went with the 2.19/1.73 valves. If I had to run smaller valves, I might have opted for more porting. I don't know about your bore size, I went with KC's recommendation. He is tough to get a hold of on the phone, but will talk as long as you want once you have him on the line.
