What Is The Correct Name for This Part?
It's the thing that screws on to the push rod coming out of the slave cylinder and that pushes against your clutch fork coming out of the bellhousing. Picture with helpful arrows below.

I call it the clutch activation rod. I made four for my car as I changed other things.

I call it a clutch slave cylinder pushrod.
It looks like it's too tight on the fork so it might be a good idea to space the slave cylinder bracket forward on the block rather than changing the pushrod.

I think it is like the little plastic things on the end of shoe laces, it does not have a name.

I think you are referring to the collar that goes over the "slave cylinder rod." It looks like it can be screwed in or out to adjust the distance between the slave cylinder and the fork. According to this web site, it's called the "adjuster." See the blow up drawing about a third of the way down the page.

My wife calls it a thingy and I call it a pushrod. There's a logical reason to use this term . . . it's a rod that's pushed on, adjustable or not.
