Not Ranked
In the early days the 289's had no tank whatsoever. This is an after thought primarilly due to SCCA and other sanctioning bodies requiring closed system on breathers to avoid spillage on the tracks. The 289 in FIA trim while in the Cobra's ultimately used 2 tubes and breathers on each valve cover. As technology improved and ring seal became better (less blowby) they went to one tube and breather on each cover as pictured on 65 GT350R Mustangs.
