Default Yes you can

wrench87 Yes you can put a PCV valve there. That hole is really for a return line from the puke tank for oil. I run a breather and pcv on my valve covers. There are shields in most valve covers to keep oil from being sucked into the pcv and then the motor. The other thing is that the EFI manifold should be balanced ported for all the cylinders. There is between a 10-40cfm differents between ports. Joe craine will balance up the manifold to within 5-8 cfm. This way you have all clinders working the same. My dove went to him, it was worth the money. You have the heads ported. He has about a 1 week turn around time. Rick L.

There is a lot of oil back there -- mine leaked so bad that the only way I could get it stop was with a dainty bit of RTV.

rick, i received my heads last week form keith craft, i could not believe the difference in port size between the heads and the victor manifold, how much does it cost to have theat intake work done? i thought the victor was a performance manifold you would never know that by seeing the difference in size.

Default Heads and intake

The Edelbrock Victor intake comes pretty small at the port opening. It does need to be gasket matched for maximum performance. It is smaller than the Performer RPM intake because they expect it to get matched to the heads. Good luck, Keith

Years ago I tried to run my PCV from the back of the manifold, to include the wire mesh basket. I always had trouble with oil ingestion from it back there till I moved the PCV to a valve cover. There's just too much turbulance and oil flinging around between the manifold and block. Ford's original OEM intent was for a draft tube in that location.

$98 in the link I posted above.
I made my own. Using a valley pan and have no problems with oil ingestion.
