White would suggest coolant, RHS would suggest intake manifold on that side, were the intake bolts checked before startup after the winter hibernation, gaskets tend to dry out & shrink when not in use & FE is more susceptible to this with so much gasket area subject to oil spray etc.
Also have seen vacuum brake booster with faulty diaphragm cause heaps of white smoke- might not be relevant in this case.
