I bought a rear alum. plate from Southern Automotive (I think) that has a grommet in it and a basket underneath it with some type of wire mesh inside the basket. I assume the mesh is to stop the oil from getting sucked into the vacuum hose. The plate says dove on it.
You can get a piece of 3/8 hose with a tight, moulded 90 degree bent in it from chevrolet or possibly a well equipped auto parts store if needed. The moulded hose will not kink if you need a tight bend.
