I did the samething as Bobcat and I also used Great Stuff. The NAPA store owner told me when I ask " how good is this Great Stuff ? " his answer " If they had this on the TItanic it would still be afloat"!!! yES IT WORKS . But the problem I have is the Ford intake does not mate all the way down as it should with the new Edelbrock Heads. I will need to shave a little off of the intake to get it to fit right and set down properly. You may discover you have the same problem. Good Luck .
