Don't feel alone. Last year I had an EFI problem. I tore the entire wiring harness apart, swapped out a few ignition components, ets. Spent weeks tracking it down. It turned out to be a faulty connector at the distributer. All it needed was a $2 part from Radio Shack. Sigh. Live and learn.
