I did and had to drill to lower my engine. As I remember valve covers might be an inch away from the firewall will check today. After scaling front bias is 48% rear 52%.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will get out to the garage in a bit and get some more pics. Cant use the headers as a gauge as I have to piece them together. I gotta redo the trans mount too...used a stock rubber mount for a 88 mustang and it is pretty tall and puts the shifter and top of tko against the trunnel roof. Thanks again guys

Street Beast Motor Mount "mistake" - Club Cobra Photo Gallery The mount on the LEFT is the Factory SB mount. The RIGHT is how it had to be "modified" to work. I don't remember any holes "pre-drilled" in my frame for the mounts. No matter what, you will have to make sure your engine is in the "right" spot, before you have to "redo" a lot of things.
I found "mistakes" from the factory on the motor mounts, steering rack mounts, trailing arm mounts and more. Don't trust ANYTHING in the manual.

Thanks for the pics...I went out today and snapped a few of the mounts and found that the predrilled frame holes were in the rear most mount holes. That said I should be able to relocated the engine back the distance btwn holes (slots) in brackets. Should move it back about 4 inches or so. I noticed your mounts were color coded......mine were not...so I reckon mine is an even earlier kit. I will post the pics in a sec.....thanks again.
