I bought adjustable upper and lower control arms. I took a radio antenna and built a bracket to clamp over the hood support bar with the antenna pointed to the floor. I used the uppers to adjust pinion angle and then measured from the inverted antenna to each end of the axle to make sure it was even. I then double checked angles and locked the lock nuts in. I didn't have to reposition any brackets this way.Don

I haven't put my body on yet, but after putting on my control arms I new something was up they immediately wanted to bind. Upper and lower frame brackets were out of whack and did not measure up the same from side to side. I did not have to remove them all the way I was able cut them partially away and tweak them with a pry bar & hammer, then line up the bolt holes, tack them, than try again for smooth travel before welding the rest of the way. I ended up going with adjustable upper and lower arms. The reason behind this was the previous owner already had the frame painted, so I did not want to disturb anything. And I wanted the ability to adjust the wheelbase to insure the rear wheels are centered in the wheel wells. Additionally to adjust the pinion angle. I also went to Coil overs inside the frame rails so I can get more rubber under the back end.

I used adjustable upper and lower rear control arms and had to even lengthen the lowers another inch to be able to get the axel into the center of the fender opening. I also had to make spacers for the springs so the tires would not rub on the top of the wheel opening.
