Finally getting beyond the retirement celebrations and jobs done around the back 40,dragged the Cobra out of mothballs.After filling the floatbowls the car fired up instantly.Took it out for a short spin only to notice the temp gauge rising too quick got back home before it hit 200 degrees.Topped off the antifreeze mix and burped the air bubble out problem solved.
The new Davinci carb works amazingly well could not be happier.As long as the weather holds will drive the car as often as I can.Also have a motorcycle that needs occasional exercise.

whats the davinci carb like MD?? Been raining in south texas NOt good cobra weather lately!!

Hi Beastly,Dan has built me several carbs for our Harleys and muscle cars.I prefer Holley double pumpers.In talking to him about our 460 he recommended I go with a 1000cfm all I asked for was leaner idle mix.All I can say is Wow! this beauty is a work of art. It does everything he said it would and then some.He sends them a tad rich which is easily taken care of with a jet change,but Oh how this thing performs.
