I don't have any at this time but I am considering it. My hood is still virgin and I am trepidant to drill unless I know they will work as they are supposed to. I like the corner areas.

I'm curious, how do you hold down your hood? Not at all? Does it float up at high speeds to let the incoming air out? Just be careful not to do high speeds in reverse!

Considering that, You should definitely put some Cobra hood latches on your car! I got lucky from FinishLine and the keys matched my boot latch key! You'll need to make the brackets which are easy. You need to make sure they are aligned with the curve of the body. They holes through the hood are nearly at the center of the support frame. I would install the latch side-to-side along the support vs. what I did to align the latch body front-to-back. It's up to you. The receiver in the spot of the hood pins is going to be difficult at best to engineer. The hood stoppers where the hood pins are located make the best sense because it fills up the spot that otherwise looks like something is missing.

My hood has a center lock latch that I open from the inside via a cable. I just feel that for looks and security as well I am considering this. I will have to bring it to my body shop guy to do this I am not confident with the drilling. I will keep you posted.

I just sent you a PM this morning disregard the PM I just found the thread that you and I had back in Feb. I am still dealing with this. But last week the center latch moved and I was not able to open the hood. Finally and very carefully got it open but I don't trust this latch and want to go your way. I will order the ones at finishline. I guess I will have to fabricate the receiver L angle. My question to you is do you have the original measurements as to the location of the receivers and did you used throughbolt to affix them to the firewall? The foot latch that you fabricated how did you attach it to the T handle?
