I'm not a big fan of the hood pins on my West Coast Cobra.
I've been looking at a number of suppliers for the handles and latches, and there seem to be different designs for the latch portion. Some use a rotating wedge that hooks under a fixed portion, while others use something more like the trunk latch mechanism. I'm not sure of the pros and cons of each type, but I'd certainly prefer to buy a kit, rather than sorting out the individual bits and pieces I need to make this work.
To that end, I ran across a set from Factory Five which seems to meet my needs: a) It's a complete set of 3 locking handles for trunk and hood, keyed alike; b) all the latch hardware is included; and c) it's reasonably priced. See it here:

Has anyone used this set, or one like it, on a West Coast Cobra or Kellison Stallion?
