No need. There's only 1 "Cobra" builder and they are out of biz. The rest of us build replicas and they are all replicas done to a different degree.

As for GTs there are 2 quality replica examples and you have one and the other is built very near to us.

All that aside there is no way on a sunny day and 70 degrees you can deny a Cobra is not easier to drive, more comfortable in and out, and finally a better value for $$$ than a GT40 replica.

These are all sunny day toys... I'd argue he simply needs a better Cobra.

I'm biased... F me

I didn't realize they made Roaring Forties GT40s out your way
You'd do well to look them up.

Sorry, it's a big investment and an order takes longer to build then those other companies can stay in business and/or good standing. I'd never suggest one in kit form due to complexity and number of parts subject to outrageous back orders.

My opinion only from watching that market closely for 5 years.

Default Here is a completely different route...

I wanted a GT40....did the research for a couple years....went back and forth between a replica and a Ford....finally...bought a Z06 Corvette instead. ???? Half the money plenty of fun... it is a true GT car that can be driven across the country in any weather in complete comfort and it is economical to drive and maintain and trouble free....smoooth as glass. I may yet scratch that itch for a 40....just because... if you haven't driven a modern Covette give it a try...Silverback bought one as a driver cuz he lives in the wet side, and last I heard, he was surprised and happy with it... I know it is heresy....but....

Now that's funny Jay!

30 week lead.

Established in 1984.

TS40 in continuous production since 1989.

Removable door tops for the claustrophobic among us.

Three chassis types available, steel spaceframe, ally composite monocoque, carbon composite monocoque.

When all the others have long since stopped making GT40 replicas, we will still be quietly doing what we do...building TS40's

Best regards and looking forward to a beer with you and Rick at Carlisle.

Cheers,
Scott
