You obviously don't like to do any research before making comments, statements or asking questions.

As an example, just to pick one mutual fund, Fidelity Select Chemicals Portfolio (FSCHX). 10-year return, including the recent Great Recession, earned 15.6% annualized. Not that hard to find, if you do your research. Like maybe buying a SAAC World Registry for $245.

Bernie Madoff? You have to stop reading the Enquirer and think about picking up a WSJ.

I love my all my shoes too, but I wear them out and replace them often. But you keep collecting shoes. Maybe you can save up some $$$ and buy a SAAC World Registry.

I do want to say I'm sorry that your dad lost money with Mr. Madoff.

He did not state his dad lost money with Madoff, you assume so.

He doesn't need a Registry. He can look up Briggs Cunningham, Lance Reventlow, and Shelby. Then maybe Ralph DePalma and Cannonball Baker for kicks.

It was actually refreshing to see a younger man come across Shelby intel about those tubs Shelby found in the back shed after several decades. Most of us knew this tall tale and some members here just have been miserable to NYG. You need new blood here and there are no stupid questions. Just immature members tired of hearing something for the umpth-teen time.


As far as the Ford GT it is not even in my top ten list of favorites. It may not even be in the top 50 that I own.

The other week I was reading the newest registry and a business partner who is a sheik caught me early morning by the pool and he was going through my morning readings. we had a great discussion which actually answered many questions that I have wondered about. So there goes a new autographed registry, Shoens' book and two others for a culture exchange.


I really don't think he needs a registry with his stated future intentions. cut him some slack for a minute.

Onyx, first, sarcasm and humor. Try and read between the lines.

Second, IMO, nearly every post of yours is wordy, confusing, incoherent at times, and requires substantial editing. And often have no relation to the topic being discussed.

Third, a little bit of research goes a long way towards answering questions. Before asking questions, NYG or anyone for that matter, should spend at least a few minutes researching a topic. Buying a registry would not only help NYG to learn about the history of Shelby and his cars, but also support SAAC and its hard working registrars. That's my recommendation. And it may head off questions like the "Shelby and the lost frames" thread.

Lastly, read your last post about Shaq, sneakers, etc. Simply ridiculous, again, IMO. And stop name dropping with President Obama and Shaq. It's just sounds weird and egomaniacal.

I'm back from Petco. They had a sale on kitty litter and what a pain in the a$$ to carry 2 bags of kitty litter onto a crowded subway! Don't know how guys handle summer weather driving their hot rods. I need air conditioning! Well, that's my life today.

Sour grapes? Read more carefully. The FGT is one of my favorite cars of all time. A "great buy" as you say? I don't know.

However, Evan mentioned that he thought the Ford GT could be worth $1MM in 10 years or less. And that's entirely possible. No one can predict the future. I only offered a more liquid alternative investment with a 10+ year track record of 15%+ returns (to get to $1MM) for those seeking a place to park their $250,000 for 10 years.

As for carrying two bags of kitty litter around, consider it your exercise for today. Or you could consider it training for this:

The Ford GT was a good buy 2-3 years ago. Now, not so much... Buy low, sell high. I got my heritage for a good price (as is the case whenever someone buys something from someone else, or you wouldn't have done it).

Buying a FGT now thinking it is going to go exponentially up is like buying apple stock. Or Ford stock when it was about a buck. The money to be made were with the ones who got in at the bottom.

Buy one now because you want one, not because you think it's an investment.

I bought my GT new in '05 and paid the Stealer $5K over Sticker..............Didn't' care.
Yeah, I don't drive it much lately because of Cell talking - texting, Kid beating - Minivan Moms. But when I do --The World is a Happy Place !!
As far as investments- $100K profit is only a phone call away - Don't care, it will be part of my Widow's inheritance.

Please skip my posts you are being foolish! Do you want me to examine what you actually post on here? Interpret what you will EVERYTHING mentioned in my post is in relation to what was posted earlier. You caught me in warrior mode so better duck.

OK we are in pre-school now listen up knock. I mention sneakers because it was discussed by another member several times and members like you joked about his collection. I am not blood related however there is a former NBA player with a massive sneaker collection who is * * *. Hence topic related to a members former post. Name drop you have to be kidding! I went out of my way not to mention Shaq the big dummy! And my family name is * * * which is why I find it worth mentioning. I write for myself so obviously you do not know the several levels coming across that tie everything together. Maybe you should just not comment on matters you fail to understand.

As far as Obama another member posted negative remarks on the topic and for better or worse he is still my Commander and Chief.

What you think about me has zero concern for me but your behavior has been in question with your 'observations' of what a member should be doing in YOUR opinion.

Instead of researching interest yields telling members a certain % possible with your funds...why don't you tell us what you have actually made in your investments. What % made in true live form. Not just some BS that someone can look up. You could mention a percentage you yielded and not the fund. Or even what you lost because everyone has those.

That's what I try to accomplish translating personal experience that you consider ____. Keep on posting your childish thoughts you must amuse someone. I don't have the time as you do to post 20 random posts so I condense a few thoughts into one post.

I saw a piece with kids trading sneakers at these get togethers. Sort of like trading baseball cards decades ago but this is big money.

I have some sneakers I rarely wear but I do not collect. One pair my wife use to hate Shaqnosis. Not sure if spelled correctly. I call him the big dummy and * * *. He got pissed at me because I drove a nicer car to my children's great grandparents funeral.
