There's a story...

A couple of brothers are in the produce industry and are into cars. One bought a new ZR-1 in the early 90s, talking endlessly about what a deal he got (even with the dealer markup) and how that English designed motorboat motor and wide ass was gonna make him a ton of cash, so he parked it. I think it's got less than 5k on it now...always maintained, etc....and he's going to be damn lucky to get back some of the inflated dealer price he paid for it. His teenage son has been begging for it and honestly, if may end up being the kid's car.

He scoffed at his brother spending $280k on an F40 a little over a decade ago. This brother (lives down the street from me) drives it on a regular basis. Love hearing the screaming he does with it for my sake when he goes by, but he acknowledges my ability to light up his car alarms when I do a little payback. Anyway...he's done, shall we say, just a bit better investment-wise even with the miles he's added.
