Guys,

Give it up. This thread jumped the shark after my last post.

Rick, I know you are just having fun and NYG I know you are just tossing it back, but there are people out there that really think this is serious.

Step back and look. Do you REALLY want to be defined by these posts?

Communication over.

Did this thread get misplaced from the Paddock forum over at gt40's.com?

Maybe, but at least he has a connection to Cobras and GT40's. What's your excuse? You once saw a Cobra replica from the window of a NYC bus and that's why you post on Club Cobra?

Lol keep typing sir, u are a Keyboard Champion. Every thread has to be about you.

But since you ask, I have 0 connections with Cobras or GT40s. None. I just like fast, simple cars. something I can fix with a screwdriver and a hammer like my Uncle's rusty Grand national. But dont worry. U wont see me talking nostalgia. I leave that for Mr Mark. His life and business are dependent on selling old stories. 500++ posts and he focuses on me? Lol. What a tool.

the backdraft boys in CT know how to market their hot rods to a younger audience. They aint selling daddy's oldsmobile

no pissing contest.

it's Mr Mark who is trying to spin the narrative and he makes it personal by attacking me.

He has a superformance gt40 replica car customer who is an azzhole. not good for the superformance brand.

And Rodknock is being rodknock. he loves to read about himself page after page.

Always have my hydro flask by my side.

What I could use is a Gibberish-to-English language dictionary to help me understand NYG.

Fact 1) The person you are referring to is NOT my customer. He did not purchase his car from me and in fact has only purchased some small, low cost accessories from me.

Fact 2) I actually have a "fakey-do hot rod "kit car' replica" (your description of what 99% percent of the cars here are)......what do you have? Oh, yeah, a Leaf.

Fact 3) While I may or may not agree with Rodknock, at least he knows what he is talking about.

Fact 4) You seem to be impressed with the Backdraft product. They make a nice FDHRKC (as described above) so charge up the Leaf and go see Jay at Vintage. If he doesn't throw you out maybe he will sell you one. Be sure to ask for a discount.

Case closed.

Fact- 26 pages and u attacked me for answering a question for a CC member. Whats wrong with you?

Rod- u are tone deaf behind a keyboard. Perhaps you should respect the OP and his thread. It's not about you. Not all 26 pages

The fact that you type in "text speak (u)" tells me all I need to know. You come here and tell everyone they are driving obsolete technology "hot rods" and then wonder why they fight back? How long did you poke the hornets nest when you were little before you figured out "cause and effect"?

This thread is starting to get a little dull.

Anyone want to comment on race, politics or religion?

But for the "Arctic" white paint job, this SPF GT40 for $169K looks very nice. Certainly NOT the $200K+ Mike seems to think his "custom" (new gauges and foot pedals) SPF GT40 is worth.

Stroked 302 (363ci) with Webers too! No affiliation.

As soon as the street version of this comes out, all of those old fancy Beetles with the engines in the wrong spot are going to be worth a lot less. Nice to see Porsche finally caught up to the GT40 and decided to orient the powertrain in the correct fashion.
