Default gt40 car kits

Who sells the GT40 kit car, CAV, RCR, Superperformance
What is the price and differences between them?

I wanted to build this car for road use and some open track events.

Don't forget a major player: ERA. As with the ERA Cobras, their GT40s are pricey, but you get what you pay for: originality, support and quality.

Default Side Mirrors

I'm finally getting my ERA GT-40 back on the road after the explosion and fire several years ago.

I love the car, however - - visibility sucks. I'm looking for a set of Side Mirrors that will mount to the door frames or the plexiglass windows.

Any thoughts, suggestions pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Y'all have a really great day.

I have fender mounted mirrors on my SPF, but wish I had mounted some on the plexiglass windows instead. One thing that has helped tremendously is a pair of very small convex mirrors stuck to the regular mirrors. The convex ones are 1.25" x 2.25" and you can get them at most auto parts stores. Makes expressway driving a lot more comfortable and safe.

A rose by any other name.

It is the great things about us, we each know what we find appealing and what we would like to have.

Mine are mounted to the forward portion of the door, and are marginally useful. Generally, the further the mirror is from yours eyes, the worse your view is going to be.

On trick is to use a passenger-side mirror on the dirver's side to magnify things. Seems to help.

Thumbs up

Hi Clois,
I'm doing good. I just got the GT back in action. I took that Mass Flo crap system off and put the Motec and eight barrel back on. She runs sweet. The 347 is outstanding. The thing is an animal with gobs of torque.

BLACKJACK... ITS ABOUT TIME YOU OLE SPY.

Dwight,
I have to look for my receipt on the cam. The specs are on it. I'll
try to get that when I get back home this evening.
It dynoed at 476 HP to rear wheels and has 422 ft lbs torque.
I only have a thousand miles on it but what a difference over the old 306 I took out. So far the only thing is the gas mileage dropped about 5 miles a gallon. A good trade for gobs of torque.
