Question GT40 Seats, Comfortable?

I was wondering how comfortable the traditional seats are with all the ringlets pressed into them? I always liked the look and thought about getting the seats in my Cobra upolstered in the same ringlet style.

Just a bit concerned that they may be uncofortable to sit on.

I believe they put the ringlets in for airflow to help keep the driver cool.

Cheers

Mike, they are very comfortable, especially on a warm day. However, they can burn if exposed to the sun for a bit, then sit on it with shorts on.

The recline on my car gets a little getting used to but when I remember to rest my head on the contoured top, it takes the edge off of driving an already hyper car on longer jaunts.

Mike

I just saw this 'Thread".

After driving from Phoenix Az. to London Oh. in over 100F. heat I can assure you that they are unnoticeable. I was wearing shorts and a "t' shirt and did not experience any discomfort.

Also not bad to sit back onto in the heat of the day after the GT40 was left parked in the sun.

Mmmm when will it be finished..

It'll never be truly finished. If all goes well it will be circulating on the track at ShelbyFest at the end of this month though.

Cheers
