Default GT40 box damaged

Good morning all.

I have damaged/cracked the outer casing on my GT 40 transaxle.

It is an Audi 016 box. The middle cast section is what I'm after.

Anyone know of a box or damaged box that I can get this cast middle section from.

Mmmm may have to look at the upgrade for this middle section..

So Bernie,
I guess you could say you broke your Toy Box.

Send me an email if you need help from this side of the pond. I would be happy to help. Jeff C

I bet J/B Weld will hold it together until you get a replacement! (or until winter arrives down there)

Yes I looked at welding it, however the crack is right around and it has separated making it hard to align.

The GT40 has one luxury and that is that during winter it is still good to drive - although does seem to wheel spin a lot in the wet...

I need any Audi 5 speed trans axle - centre cast section.

Cheers

Bernie
