Ok, this one is subtle. Two changes in this process.
One is a little tougher to notice.

They did use the black in the earlier cars, at some point the chrome showed up but early blk.
The decal is not a sticker, it's a water decal style which was like the old model kits we had when we were a kids.
Very delicate!

I have a local decal maker that may be making these things by the dozen.
This unit is original on my car, small blemish but original.

Well that’s a great question. It’s my understanding that the US market did get amber lenses but we are talking early cars. (which was a bit of a crap shoot)
Some came with FIA mags and sometimes both FIA/Halibrands mixed.
I can find examples both ways in vintage pics, trouble loading at this moment.
Many are taped up in racing pictures so it's hard to tell.
Photos are poor quality, after damage some lost the blinker all together.
 ???
From what I know it was a mixed bag on lense color even with 289 cars.
Cannot seems to upload more pics, i'll try later...

 3002 - Clear
 3003 - Clear
 3006 - Clear now amber
 3009 - Amber
 3021 - Amber
 3028 - Clear
 3029 - Clear now...
 3045 - Clear

Updates as to what’s been up. SAAC took a week, nothing got done there.

First I pulled front end apart as there was some issues occurring.
New Rotors, hardware and grease on both sides.

The pedal “cover” was at some point reinstalled upside down and the appearance not my flavor so I made a new one.

Reassembly this weekend then finish intake gasket replacement.
Then hoping to drive it like I stole it.
At least until my next update. 😄
