Adding structure for body mounting.
Some tubes were MIA as glass bodies were slightly different mounting

This thread keeps showing up in the unread posts list but there isn't anything new. Last time this was due to a database error. Maybe this post will shake things loose.

What's the final plan on the joint where aluminum meets fiberglass? How are you going to bond and fasten them together, and how will you keep the two dissimilar materials from cracking at the joint? I hope it all goes well for you.

Easy, industrial two part epoxy.
When testing it out the bond it is stronger than the alloy itself which will be wrapped on the tubular frame. Testing glass to alloy alone; the alloy fails (tears) before the joint fails.
It’s will be final for sure.

Bonded and setting up overnight with two part epoxy.
