Thanks for the pointer to David Bergeron and his carb services. [Refer to post #11 in this thread for David's contact info] Just received my carb back from him and it is sparkling like new. I found David to be knowledgeable, professional and responsive. And patient with me and my endless list of questions. I also found the price for his rebuild services to be quite reasonable. |

Hmm, so you drove to North Carolina and did not stop in Greensboro to visit your old friend Michael Briggs?
Maybe when you come back to pick the car up. (Smile) Michael |

Absolutley will on the way back! When I headed all my co-pilots bailed so I solo drove on a weekend. Nice drive but was long by Sunday evening. Also had commitments in VA same weekend. 1900 miles, solo, lots of thinking...... |
One on the right looks like GM Maui Blue to me.
Center sample looks closest to the color you're looking for. Of course all our computer screens are set up different. Cheers |
Thats it, screens do not aid in the process.
The two Guardsman are Shelby colors The far right is a SPF Guardsman interpretation color, not sure of the origin. CSX3006 was a lighter Guardsman however when speaking to the painter of it he said Guardsman and he to picked the left vs right. |
Same Blue ??

Jeff, I vote for the paint clip on the right ;) I have this one in the hanger that's pretty close to that color, I'm having a hard time not buying it. It has issues with the rear end that could run into serious money. Love the color! Cheers Tom.
|
Appreciate the share, really trying to match 3006 as it was my son's pic.
Love the feedback. |
