Default HTM111 - Back to basics and forward with re-build

HTM-111 is now ready for body. Awaiting alloy delivery in early May so we can fab the tubes that run side to side, top door rails and touch up welding. In this process we need a little precision as to avoid loading body and making the lines correct.

I want to thank Allen Buresh for all he has done thus far and Joe Stafford for the work about to materialize.

Gonna be an eye catcher, my son to whom should get this car when I head into the light has chosen Guardsman Blue. Thanks to my friends at LMC I have the paint codes to match CSX3006.

The picture below is right before the hit...

Looks good Jeff. Sorry I can't make it to SAAC 48 this year.

Jeff,

They look real nice. What has changed about SAAC 48? I have not heard anything.

Logistically nothing

Concours seems to be confusing, so I may be not doing that....
Fran is being grouchy so I may just stay home...

I will see what I can do to help Fran be less grouchy. I will remind him of the pasta dinner coming up at the Glen, that usually gets a smile out of him.

Curious why the blue paint/powder coat inside the turkey pan? I realize the prior owner also had it this way. Nothing that a spray can of Aircraft Paint Remover can’t handle.
