The zip tie sounds like the best idea yet. Seting the tesion could be tricky. May want to leave a short leg sticking out. What size of zip tie did you. Curently I have the programable rev limiter set at 6,000 RPM, doesn't seem to be opening. I'll need to take the car somewhere where I can open it up. maybe next summer.

The shortest and lightest one. They are probaby less than six inches in length and are light enough to make a tight circle. They are not the big strong ones -- you might be able to bust these apart with your hands... maybe.
