Default holley electric pump

I need an advice. Since I had some electrical problems, I need to replace the fuel pump.
The carburator is a 4150 Holley 750 CFM and the engine is a 427 FE strocked to 482ci and prepared by Keith Craft. Currently the electric fuel pump is a Holley but I don't know the part number.
Do you know the part number I need to order ? Do I have to install a fuel filter ?
Thanks for your help..! (and sorry for my english)

PS : I also need to change the alternator (I have 2 battery of 28Ah each, the external regulator is brand new) but, again, I don't know the part number.

You need a 100 micron filter before the pump and it is a good idea to use a 10 micron filter at the carb.

You might want to consider a mallory pump. I understand they are more reliable and quieter. Based on a g-rotor design.

Default Fuel pump

Hi:

You have a Holley Red pump. They are internally pressure regulated at about 7 psi, so you won't need a pressure regulator. That's all you need to know, you can order the same pump, just specify Holley Red, you don't need a part number. They are noisy, but I have no experience with any others, and to fit another pump may require adding a fuel pressure regulator.

Cheers!

Thank you, there are two references in Summit website. Which is correct and/or the best one ?

- Holley 12-801-1 - Holley Red Electric Fuel Pumps
- Holley 712-801-1 - Holley Red Electric Marine Fuel Pumps

Search Results for holley red electric fuel pump - SummitRacing.com

Any idea for the alternator ?

Many thanks.
