I've used Holley's Ultra Double Pumper for the last year. Right out of the box it worked without any tuning. If I may ask, why are you looking at the HP series? I believe HP series are vacuum secondaries. When I was shopping around for my carb, all the mechanics and factory reps I spoke to suggested to get mechanical secondaries for a Cobra with a manuel transmission. They claimed that vacuum secondaries would not always open to WOT with the combination of a light car, a street/strip cam, and a manuel transmission. I am by no means a mechanic, but that seemed to be what everyone was telling me that was in the business. Plus, the Ultra Double Pumper has an electric choke....

Ive seen the 950 HP Ultra in a mechanical secondary, its billet unlike the HP, I love the hard core gray look.

All HP and Ultra HP carbs are mechanical secondary only.

All have no airhorn or choke mechanism.

HP are cast aluminium, Ultra HP are billet.
