Absolutely correct, 100% from what I've seen first hand myself on the few JCF slabsides I've seen. And some may not be aware - in several cases, not each car was completely built by John at JCF either; some went out in parts. He has supplied just frames/bodies to people I know and have met over the years, and other cars we've seen have come along that had to be completely redone including chassis mods, mounts, and both front/rear suspension; uncertain of who originally built the cars. A good friend has either built and/or completely revised four of them now; especially in the suspension area. One just left the shop and two others in the shop now, one of them had all new front/rear suspension and upgrades, and a lot more to go. We've recently also seen one mostly done by John himself but have a list of changes to be made including drivetrain repositioning and more suspension changes to make the car even better. We were just chatting this week, if we could get someone to make us the slabside bodies correctly, and the base chassis, he might even start producing his own slabside cars in limited production, with some modern suspension components front/rear.
