OK, the weekend is now here, the inauguration is over, and it's time to tackle the wiring and fix it once and for all. I think it will be a quick fix.

OK, i got yet a third VR and the light works fine, the VR doesn't get hot, but the voltmeter, which used to show 14 or 14.1, now shows only about 13.5. A VOM across the battery terminals with the fan and lights on, shows about 13.5-13.6. I believe both alternators are 55A. Is this OK? thanx again. s

13.6v with the lights and fans on is just peachy. You're done.
