I had a problem with excessive oil consumption (last fall) on my KCR 427w... was sucking down about a quart every 130 miles. Turned out the PCV valve was pushed down against the baffle inside the valve cover (which is washed in oil). After removing the PCV, oil consumption has stopped... no loss at all. Runs great... fabulous engine.
