Sorry to hear/see that buddy, but your wifey's a keeper.

Besides you loving her more, you should be getting more loving.

Excellent. You know you could always have them toss another roll bar on that beautiful car as well.

Serious question: His roll bar looks a little taller. Is it just the angle of the photograph or does Kirkham provide a choice of heights?

It's probably the angle, not 100% sure. Mine is pretty tall too and sticks up above the windshield.

By the way, pretty picture.

Maybe the Kirkhams should polish that car while in UT.

Ron
I'm puzzled, how can it be adjustable? Surely if you reduce the length of the main legs, the rear stay won't line up correctly.

I'm with Fatboy on that one. Also, the crossbar would hit the body!

The roll bar I spoke of was a stainless replacement for my 289 FIA car. It had approx. 7" extra lengh which you cut to fit. Yes the cross bar location would change depending on how high you wanted the hoop. The roll bar hoop and kicker attachment came from kirkham unwelded. Once you have your hoop height established, weld in the leg bungs, bolt into place, fit the kicker bar and weld the kicker bar attachment to the hoop. I would guess if you ordered a passenger roll bar for a 427 it would come the same way. I'll add pic....Ron

I like the idea of an adjustable roll bar. Perhaps even a collapsable rollbar... you know, you could just push it down out of the way when putting the soft top up.

Perfect! I looked for a pic of a flipped street Cobra to attach to my last post and I was just going to say it had one of my collapsable roll bars in it. But this will do just fine.

EDIT -- A soft top should have no problem getting over this roll bar.

FATBOY,,That Shelby was entering a freeway when he lost traction(3rd gear),spun off the road hitting a tree with left Q-panal. The impact drove the 3rd leg of the roll bar foward, ripping the left leg of the roll bar from it's bracket. when the car went over it only had the rt. leg remaining in place. The driver spent a week in the hospital. took the insurance money and bought a Porsche.......Ron
