I used to use window cleaner (same as Paul suggested), but could never get rid of the finger prints in my brushed Kirkham body. I tried WD-40 and it not only cleans better than window cleaner, but it also protects to alloy from finger print staining and also corrosion / oxidation. Plus it's really quick and easy to do - spray on, wipe off. :-)
